The first continental congress organized resistance to the intolerable act. Boycott of British goods. King George the third says that the colonies are in rebellion. “Blows must be dealt”. This caused the first battle of the Revolutionary war. Then the second continental congress wouldn´t have had to create the declaration of independence and act as the government during the Revolution. They wrote the Articles of the confederation. That led to the American Revolution. If the second continental congress hadn´t acted as a government during the revolution then the war could have been a lot worse and a lot more people could have died because they would be in chaos and not have any order to their attack. The city would have been completely destroyed.
