Millikan was an American physicist famous for his oil drop experiment in 1909. This experiment was able to help in determining the measurement and size of an electron's charge. With this he also discovered that there was a smallest unit of charge. Millikan later won Nobel prize in Physics for his discoveries and experimentation to determine the charge of an electron.
