The Stamp Act of 1765 made the colonists to pay a heavy tax on all paper items such as stamps
and playing cards. This was important as the colonists simply and outright refused it which showed
them they had the power to control their taxes.Acts like this caused people by the name of,''The Sons of Liberty'' to act in revolting ways.
