The French and Indian War was a war between the British and France. The colonists and the Native Americans helped both Britain and France. Britain wins the war and is in a lot of debt and the king tells the colonists pay off that debt. The king of Britain tells the colonist that they can not settle in the new land that they gained. The colonists thought that was unfair.
