In order to promote the high quality of its objects, organized the circulating exhibition "Die gute Industrieorm" (the good form of industrial design). He was co-founder, director and professor of the School of Arts and Crafts of Ulm. After leaving school, he founded his own studio where he devoted himself to sculpture, painting and architecture
