Again, despite not impacting the making of films directly, Amazon had a big impact on the distribution of films, being able to buy films online meant people were becoming less and less reliant on other companies and having to go out to watch the film elsewhere. In addition to this, Amazon was also one of the first companies to create a streaming service that customers would pay a monthly fee for, in the form of 'Lovefilm', which has now however been shut down and replaced. In my opinion, Amazons impact on film history has only been marginal as it never revoultionised any aspect of film, whether it be the creation, production or the way it's watched.
