200 line ode to Shamash, the Babylonian Sun-god of justice. Shamash is depicted as the God of Gods who rules everything, from the lesser gods to the everyday goings on of Merchants. Has many refrences to economics corresponding to an economic boom of the era. Shamash is very concerned with the moral welfare of his devotees.
