A student at Santa Fe High School was elected as council Chaplin. At a school football game, they delivered a prayer. Two families filed a suit that this act is unconstitutional because of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. The court concluded that a student initatied prayer at a football game violates the establishment clause.
