The control of fire by early humans was a turning point in the cultural aspect of human evolution because it gave humans warmth during cold weather and when the get meat from animals after hunting they could cook it on the fire which makes it taste it better. And because they had fire the gather stuff at night because they had light which was a big advantage because you gather at night and day to get extra resources.
