28 marzo 1774 anni - The Coercive (Intolerable) Acts
Descrizione:
The British were upset after the Boston Tea Party and other similar protests involving the destruction of British goods. So, in response to these riots, the British Parliament passed the Coercive Acts. One of the most impactful effects of the Coercive Acts was that the Boston Harbor was closed until the American colonists payed for the damage done by the Boston Tea Party and similar protests. These acts were so detrimental to the American colonists, so they called it the Intolerable Acts.
