Descrizione:

-It was independent emirate in Iberian peninsula. The first emirate ruler, Abd -Rahman I of umayyad. He manage to runaway to middle east due to the death of most of his family during the Abbasid revolt.

-He desposed his family royal family. He refuse to recognize the authority of the Abbasid caliphate empire and becomes independent emir.

-Unfortunately, the Emirate of Cordoba decline under the throne of Abd Rahman III, his grandson. The political decline was the main reason of the decline of Cordoba. Abd Rahman III restored umayyad power in Al andulus and extended to North Africa.
