Denmark's cabinet were divided on the war question : The pro-war (mostly conservative) wanted to interened in the GEW to reclaim Scleswig and the anti-war (mostly soc-dem) don't. The King Christian X support the pro-war and disolve the cabinet, but the anti-war launch general strikes in all the countries that forces the King to abdicate and the cabinet to reform. After that, a plebiscite in Denmark were hold and the Danish choosed to kep a King. But Christian X can't reclaim his trones, so his brother Carl or Haakon VII, King of Norway, became King of Denmark, and united Denmark and Norway.
