In 1919 Aileen (Age 63) fell while walking down the stairs and twisted her neck dying instantly. Ellen found the corpse and was very shaken by this.
The father, (Aileen’s son) Patrick Doyle, lives in regret. He didn’t ever really believe the stories his mother told him growing up. And when she said that the house was haunted by malignant spirits, he figured she was just getting old and remembering old superstitions. But now he’s not so sure.
He moved his remaining family from the house within a week.
He closed his bakery and they all moved to Philadelphia

The Psychologist Dr. GÓRSKI Still lives in Charlestown and has records on the Doyle’s.


A few months before the Doyle's moved out Margaret Doyle, (Not superstitious herself) took out Phantasms of Living from the Boston Medical Library that she had access too. To appease her Step Mother Aileen Doyle. Concerned about their children dreams, Aileen thought the book would give her answers. It really only made more questions and an already superstitious old lady more unstable.
