Boudica, a queen of the Iceni, was appointed to lead a revolt of the Iceni and the Trinovantes against Rome. a year later at the Battle of Watling Street: Some eighty thousand soldiers and civilians among the Iceni and Trinovantes were killed, probably in the modern West Midlands, ending Boudica's revolt.
