2 ottob 2011 anni - 11. Best practice of an online catalogue: Cat’zArts
Descrizione:
There are numerous art catalogues online of all brands, types and level of functionality. Unfortunately, not all of them apply 'best practice' rules for end-users like me (if such rules have ever been described...). In my view Cat’zArts is such a 'best practice' online catalogue: * it is multilingual * search results can be retrieved by relevance, author, title, date of creation, type of work, call (inventory) number * it has a complete Help * re-use of information or images allowed with mention AND NO WATERMARK on the images! * no registration needed * full technological information about the database. Cat’zArts displays the records of the works kept at the collections of the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSBA) in Paris.
