This topical catalogue, the first one I compiled and published, contains 1840 entries of sculptures, reliefs, paintings, frescoes, drawings, prints and illustrations, depicting Aphrodite/Venus categorized in 18 main topics, of 649 identified Italian artists from the Middle Ages to Modern Times. With an Index of Artists, a Directory of Owners and an extensive Bibliography, 156pp. (2007). The catalogue is fully searchable in PDF, free available. Also available as paperback book (€13.95) ($ 17.50) or as hardcover book (€ 20.00) ($ 20.00).

It is the nature of such catalogues that they are far from complete and not without errors.

A revision has been published in April 2018.
