2 magg 1967 anni - Protesting the Mulford Act

Descrizione:

On May 2nd, 1967 the Black Panthers led by Huey Newton and Bobby Seale raided a California Statehouse to protest the veto of the Mulford Act. The mulford act was about allowing people to carry open firearms around. The Black Panther protested the event because that is what they needed in order to show there stance over the police brutality and even walked in the state courthouse with rifles drawn. The event became important because the Black Panthers showed that they were going to fight these brutality issues even in court and stop the brutality.
