Over 250,000 people attended a march in front of the White House. It was organized by the Committee for a Sane Nuclear Policy (SANE). The National Coordination Committee to End the War in Vietnam, the SDS, and Women Strike for Peace were also involved. This is important because so many people took part in this movement if really opened people's eyes to how many people were against the war.
