august 28,1963 25,000 people marched on the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. they marched for job equality and freedom. this massive protest was to bring light on the challenges that African American people have faced in the years after the emancipation. here also leader Martin Luther King Jr. shared his "I have a dream" speech
