On April 12th, 1945 the 32nd president of the US passed away. This meant that Vice President Truman was now in charge and took over his power. During FDR's presidency, he dealt with the Great Depression and other big issues. Now Truman had to deal with the debate on whether to drop the atomic bomb or to remain stationary.
