1 gen 806 anni a. C. - Development of the Greek Alphabet
Descrizione:
The development of the Greek alphabet laid the foundation for Western literary tradition. It was the first true alphabet to include distinct symbols for vowel sounds, making reading and writing more intuitive and helping spread written texts across the Mediterranean. This influence extended to the Latin alphabet and ultimately shaped the format and function of books in Europe.
