Held to find out the type of merger the ppl in SG wanted. Barisan Sosialis urged public to cast blank votes whilst the PAP urged the public to opt for Option A, which would have SG merge with autonomy.

Option B: SG joins Malaysia on same terms as all the other states
Option C: SG gets equal or better treatment as North Borneo and Sarawak.
