These 14 points were the groundwork for peace during WW1. These were said to the people in January of 1918 during President Woodrow Wilson's Speech. These mostly supported the idea of lasting peace within the nations. Some of the points were free trade, arms reduction, and open democracy. The point most known today is the one which advocated for a League of Nations. This then did lead to the creation of the League of Nations.
