Following decades of work, scientists at the Hyphos 3 Station orbiting Jupiter finally discover a way to create a tear in the fabric of space-time. Allowing objects to move from one place to another while bypassing the normal rules of physics.

After months of testing a drone was launched through one of these tears. It only took a few seconds for it to re-appear nearly 26 AU away.

Work started on creating a more compact version of the equipment used so that it would be possible to be outfitted on a ship.
