Apollo 13 was intended to be the third lunar landing. With the main goal to land in the highlands of the moon for geographical studies. However, this mission was Labeled a “successful failure” the crew did not land because of an oxygen tank explosion that damaged the ship forcing the crew to abort the mission. Luckily, they were able to safely land back on earth.
