30 gen 1933 anni - Hitler appointed chancellor of Germany
Descrizione:
The Treaty of Versailles, signed at the end of World War I, demanded a huge sum of money from Germany that they weren't able to pay off until 2010. This crippled the German economy, also paving the way for Hitler to make his rise to power. Through promises of a better future, Hitler was eventually appointed chancellor of Germany by its leader at the time, Paul von Hindenburg. However, after Hindenburg's death in 1934, Hitler was able to take full control of the country as its Führer and give his Nazi party governmental power.
