1 gen 7000 anni a. C. - [Speculation of] The Start of Religious Practices in the Indus Valley
Descrizione:
It is actually quite hard to guess if this is exactly where it started, and deciphering their script would make it clearer. The Indus Valley Civilization was a Bronze Age civilization, however "...In these other civilizations large temples were a central key element of cities, and religious imagery abounded. Once the scripts were deciphered the names of deities, and the characteristics attributed to them, became fairly clear. None of this is the case for the Indus Valley Civilization." - SCE Multiple types of seals have been found and speculated to be religious, but it is not clear as of now. So far they've found the Pashupati Seal (see image), the Procession Seal, also called the sacrifice seal, a few swastika seals, most likely for merchants (The original meaning of a swastika is well-being, I am not talking about the way Nazi Germany used it as a hate symbol), Mother Goddess sculptures, and many more items.
