4 dic 1989 anni - Reston Monkey House Employee Contracts Illness
Descrizione:
On December 4th, another Reston monkey house employee, named Milton Frantig, came stumbling out of the monkey house vomiting and with a fever of over one hundred one. The incident sent a shock wave to those in charge of the monkey house and caused them to completely shut-down and turn over the rest of the building to the Army to be decontaminated. Since the CDC was in charge of any human aspects of the operation, it was their call to send Milton to a local hospital. As Milton was being loaded into an ambulance, a news van appeared on the scene and began to track the situation, ruining all hope of avoiding news attention. When Milton arrived at the hospital he claimed to have been starting to feel better, leaving it unknown if he contracted Ebola or if the environment and stress of the monkey house made him sick.
