A civil war began in Russia as the Red Army (The Bolsheviks) took on the White Army (Those who supported the tsar, socialists who opposed Lenin's style of socialism, and those who wanted democratic government). The war killed close to 14 million Russians and ended with the Bolsheviks taking control of Russia.
