On November 29th, an employee at the Reston monkey house, named Jarvis Purdy, inexplicably suffered a major heart attack and had several blood clots. Ebola was known to cause these symptoms, however, it was unknown whether or not Ebola was the cause of the employee's heart attack. Nevertheless, the incident caused shock and panic to those who knew of the potential Ebola Zaire outbreak.
