Effect: BOSTON TEA HARBOR! DUMP TEA -> brits came in with the intolerable acts

- reduced tax on imported British tea -> act gave Brtisih merchants an unfair advantage when selling their tea in America

Tea = British Tyranny

Colonists dressed up as natives and threw pounds of tea into the Boston Harbor
