A Line in Time

Category: Éducation
mise à jour avec succès: il y a 6 mois
This is the collaborative effort of our four-layer timeline. This timeline begins with the Elizabethan Poor Laws in the Elizabethan Era and continues onward to 2020. The timeline traces the global and Canadian History of Social Work, including events involving social movements, scientific advancements, the events of the Indigenous Peoples, the French as well as the British. This timeline traces throughout the continued revolution of Legislation and Policy. It highlights the emerging theories which include evolving beliefs and changes to the ethical standards throughout history and globally. The timeline centres on social work practice and the living changes to the practice theory. Our team worked collectively on each layer and collaborated to make this an appealing, informative and interactive timeline for educational and interactional viewing, to draw and maintain interest while gaining a well-rounded perspective on what has brought us all to the point in which we are today.
