United Nations Formation The U.S and Axis powers discussed in Washington to form a union for peace.
Truman Doctrine American foreign policy whose stated purpose was to counter Soviet geopolitical expansion proposed by U.S president Harry S. Truman and later expanded upon.
Berlin Blockade The Soviet Union built a wall in an attempt to stop aid to Allied powers, this eventually didn't work as the Allies to aid by air. After this wall was torn down it split Germany into two separate countries.

Construction of the Berlin Wall Nikita Khrushchev wanted to test President Kennedy by threat to see his strength and weaknesses . President Kennedy sent troops to the site.
