200 years after an apocalypse that nearly wiped out the human race, society is rebuilding. A tribal society is thrumming to life and utilizes a tyranny style of government. This city is placed in the ruins of LA, and is referred to as New LA. Most people in this country do not like the leadership placed over them, however do not want to oppose it out of fear.
A revolution is theorized by a collection of people who refer to themselves as the "Silver Doves." They utilize the old-world symbol of freedom, that being the dove, as both their emblem and part of their name. This group strives to provide freedom and control to their people.
The revolution officially begins.
Many people in the country of New LA are afraid of joining the revolution, however... They soon come to see that following their tyrant leader will ultimately lead them to death. Thusly, the bravest of the start to join up with the Silver Doves. As time goes on, the Silver Doves have nearly a third of New LA's population within their fold.
The revolution has reached its peak. The tyrant's army itself is beginning to turn on him. Things are not looking good for the current tyrant of New LA.
The revolution ends.
The Union of SoCal is formed. The leaders of the Silver Dove are awarded the highest positions in the government, as they should. This is the very foundation of the Aristocracy to come. The idea that only those who have proved their worth have power in the government. However, it MUST be a council of people who have proved that they deserve to be in a position of power. Additionally, all of their moral ideologies must align to some extent as to avoid conflict or corruption.
The council of UoSC is formed and begins to ponder the idea of a document of doctrines.
The Rule of 26 is formed by the council and released to the public.
After years of the country getting on its feet, people quickly accept the idea of an atristocracy. At first, they are wary, however come to see that this form of government is much less harmful as compared to tyranny. So, although it is flawed in some of their eyes, they accept it. Additionally, they have a mentality of trusting those who are in the high official class because they have earned their right to be there.
