The Neolithic Era is most noticeably known for its pottery, but it is also when free standing sculpture and bronze statuettes really took off. Ranging in particular from the Indus Valley Civilization, the North Caucasus, pre-Columbian art in the Americas and most spectacular of all Egypt. Pyramid archetecture in Egypt included many burial chambers that lead to an increase in demand for portable statues and statuettes.
