Descripción:
It was a war that was fought by the United States and Mexico and they fought over the independence of Texas and other territorial claims. The war was sparked by battles in Texas like the battle of San Jacinto and Alamo. In the end the United States won the war and Mexico gave up half of its territory which were converted into many states in America. After the war the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo was signed.
