Formation of the United Nations (26 jun 1945 año – 24 oct 1945 año)

Representatives from 50 different countries met in San Francisco at the United Nations Conference on International Organization. The representatives from China, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom and the United States worked on the basis of proposals and the United Nations Charter was signed on June 26th, 1945 by the 50 countries. Poland later signed it as they were not present at the conference. The United Nations was officially ratified by China, France, the Soviet Union, the UK and the US on October 24th, 1945. This event is coded as purple because neither side was really victorious over the other but it is more of a neutral victory between the two sides and additional countries. The UN unified many nations and its goal was to regain international peace and security. UN Day is celebrated on October 24th every year.
