Descripción:
May 25th-September 17th 1787
The Constitutional Convention, also known as the Philadelphia Convention, took place at the Pennsylvania State House in Philadelphia. The plan was to revise the first system of government and league of states, but James Madison and Alexander Hamilton wanted to create a new government rather than fix the existing one. They elected George Washington to be the chair of the Convention. The Convention created the Constitution of the United States, being one of the most significant events in American History.
