Wilson Presidency- March 4, 1913 – March 4, 1921

Woodrow Wilson was the 28th president, and served from 1913 to 1921. In his presidency, he led American thought World War I which started in 1914 and ended in 1918. He progressively reformed the country and established the Federal Reserve and the Federal Trade Commission. At the start of WWI, Wilson didn’t want to get involved, but he let Congress declare war on Germany in 1917. After they helped win the war, he also helped make a peace treaty which also included plans for The League of Nations. He won the Nobel Prize for his peacemaking efforts.
