Atlantic Slave Trade (1 nov 1600 año – 1 sept 1808 año)
Descripción:
Through the Enlightenment and great awakening came feelings of individuality, empowerment, clarity, and American freedom. This was very contradictory with the booming slave industry. The Atlantic slave trade, while thoroughly developed in the 1600s, hit its peak in the 1700s. This industry is sometimes considered the first attempt at globalization because it spanned across the world. Approximately between 25 and 30 million people were transported and enslaved.
