Hundred Years' War (19 jun 1337 año – 19 jun 1453 año)
Descripción:
This was a period of fighting between France and England. It began with the death of King Charles IV and the subsequent debate over his successor. This fighting turned violent, and eventually Edward III was granted some land in return for the French retaining the throne. When Charles V broke this treaty, the fighting continued until his death. At this point, there was a short peace, and both countries had internal struggles. England took advantage of one such struggle, and the fighting began again and lasted until France eventually won (w/ help from Joan!) and conquered Normandy and Aquatine.
