Born in a religious familiy and grew up in the stronghold of the Zealots. He left no writings but oral and written record by his followers later became the new testament Gospels (meaning good news). Some see Jesus as Moral teacher, some as prophet and others as the son of god. He preached of a godly kingdom and eternal happiness in a life after death. Allthough Jesus died at the cross, a major part of the religion is that he stood up after his death
