The Cuban-American War, which resulted from the Miami Attacks, started with a 2-month long battle at Guantanamo Bay in Southern Cuba, which ended in an American victory. After about 2 years of fighting, the city of Havan was captured and Cuba was annexed as a territory of the United States.
