Seven Years War/Treaty of Paris (30 abr 1756 año – 30 mar 1763 año)

Descripción:

A conflict that put an alliance of England and Prussia against the French, Austrians and Spanish, rooted in the War of Austrian Succession. Tensions in North America also created a battle field there, where it was known as the French and Indian war. The British victory culminated in the Treaty of Paris, where French lost India and North American territories and lost Louisiana to Spain. This allowed Britain to consolidate an empire, but set the stage for revolutionary conflict due to war debts, and the subsequent increase in taxes.
