causes of WW2 were Italian fascism in 1920s, Japanese militarism and invasion of China in 1930s, and the political takeover in 1933 of Germany by Adolf Hitler and his Nazi party. It ended with the unconditional surrender of the Axis powers and allies accepted Germany's surrender.
