Industrial Revolution (29 nov 1790 año – 29 nov 1860 año)
Descripción:
Since Americans were continuing to move west and the nation was continuing to grow, labor took on different forms. People began to work in factories instead of on farms and in independent shops. The textile industry was a big turning point for the workforces in America because it opened up working to new populations. Women were able to work in the textile mills with much more freedom than they were able to on farms. People flocked to the mill areas and communities sprung up around them. Key Concept 4.2.111
