The First Bubonic Plague Pandemic originated in China. This disease, spread by rodents and fleas, made its way to Europe by way of Mongol trade routes. It took a century for both Europe and Asia to recover from the effects of this Plague. After the Plague, China recovered by establishing the Ming Dynasty and Europe recovered by entering into the renaissance age and improving their armies and governments. Europe also entered many trade routes after their recovery as well. (3.1)(3.3)
