Established in World War 2, Japanese internment camps were camps that isolated japanese people and is considered one of the most atrocious violations of American civil rights. After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, Roosevelt executed order 9066, which relocated about 117,000, most citizens, japanese to Internment camps. They were offered work and were not paid more than an army private. They were ended on March 20, 1946.
