Descripción:

Upon returning to America in 1962 Diamond began work in his field, first at Biophysical Laboratory at Harvard Medical School, then at UCLA Medical School as a as a professor of physiology in 1966. During this time Diamond studied the different membranes in organs in the human body, specifically gallbladders. While he enjoyed his work it soon occurred to him that we wasn't entirely content with spending the rest of his life writing papers to a very small niche of the scientific community.
