Although it was not won in a war or freed through treaties, the agricultural revolution is among the most important revolutions in history. Radically new methods were proposed to make farming easier and more effective. Ideas like the Enclosure Movement, Jethro Tull's seed drill, and the Dutch Four-Crop Rotation System made life better for all. Prices for crops dropped significantly, so laborers were more able to afford food for themselves. As a result, life standards for everyone were better.
